Sylvester Stallone is an American actor, screenwriter, director and producer. He first gained recognition for 1974’s The Lords of Flatbush and is best known for playing boxer Rocky Balboa in the Rocky films, which first premiered in 1976 and for which he also wrote the screenplays. He is also known for playing John Rambo in the Rambo movies, which first premiered in 1982, as well as for the Expendables series.
